A View From The Top

Afternoon loves! With Autumn officially having arrived I thought it would only be fair to nod farewell to an amazing summer with one last S/S-ish post..

Not too long ago, I had the amazing opportunity to shoot his royal bloggerness, Toni from Fashitects inside The Shard. It was an amazing experience with breathtaking views of London on the outside and jaw dropping interior deliciousness on the inside. I really this outfit for that day, it was simple and perfect for the weather we’ve been having lately – too hot for Autumn clothing but not quite hot enough for summer clothing. I teamed a pair of black distressed jeans from Daisy Street with a white bardot top from Topshop and accessorised with a tan fedora from Rag and Bone and tan peep toe sandals from Daniel Footwear. To finish the look off, I loosely plaited my hair to one side of my hair, added a few gold bracelets and grabbed a camel coloured slouchy clutch from Next (No longer available but similar below).

I’m not sure why I didn’t post these photos sooner as it was such a fun day and the photos from Toni’s shoot turned out spectacularly well (even if I do say so myself). :)

In other news, I am slowly getting geared up for my 2.5 months away from London but I am definitely struggling with how I should pack for a trip that long..

Hope you’ve all been keeping well my sweets..

Until the next post

FLARE GAME

Well, hello there my loves! It has been a minute hasn’t it? My apologies, I have been fully immersed in wedding preps! Yes, for those of you that don’t know I am tying the knot later on this year and while I am super excited, organizing a 3 day affair for over 500 people in a different country is no easy task.. BUT I’m happy to report that with most of the planning done and dusted I can finally get back to blogging..

I absolutely LOVE this look – I couldn’t be happier about flared jeans making a huge comeback this season andd this pull on pair from Blank NYC are amazing! I really love how the elasticated high waist really tucks you in and the quality of the material used is superb. I’m definitely ordering another pair of these in a different colour.

I teamed the flares up with a boyfriend fit slogan tee from Missguided, a wide brim fedora hat from H&M (no longer available but similar from Lack of Colour here) and a faux fur tote from Accesoryo. To finish the look off, I sported a deep red lip which is a combination of Fire Down Below by Nars and Diva by MAC.

I felt this look was kind of appropriate this week seeing as we’re in the midst of London Fashion Week! I may have not been able to go to any shows this season due to an overwhelming work schedule but no harm in dressing up any way ey? :)

Thanks for reading my loves!

Until the next post xox
