It’s funny how much of a difference your hair can make to your whole look right? Here’s a few pictures from the other day when I dyed the ends of my hair (temporarily) and sported a very vampy lip..
The black jumpsuit I’m wearing, I actually purchased in a shop at the hotel we stayed at in Cartagena in Colombia. It was our last day there and I had completely exhausted all my options for a night out on the town and decided to try and find something in the beach shop in the lobby. I really loved the sheer fabric and as you guys know, black is always a fail safe choice for me.. and best of all? It cost twenty quid! Here I teamed it with a wide brimmed fedora from Princess Polly Boutique and accessorized with a leather wrap necklace, also from Princess Polly, a pair of blue mirrored sunnies from Windsor Store and added additional accents of gold by adorning my arm with a couple of Flash Tattoos.
Now.. the really fun bit! I changed my hair colour for the day using Brite Organix Liquid Hair Chalk which simply glides on and washes out! I really loved the vibrancy of the colour and it was pretty impressive that it lasted so well. You can check out all of Brite Organix temporary colour range right here.
Ola Amigos! After a month away in the North and South America’s, I am back in sunny (and a very very hot) Australia for another month. While I have a tonne of photos I do intend to share with you guys over the coming weeks, I thought I’d start with a couple from my favorite place throughout the trip.. beautiful Venice Beach in gorgeous LA.
I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with LA the way that I did.. it just has this amazing vibe about it. Ha.. how cliche of me. Anyway, it seems only fitting that the dress I’m wearing in this post was designed by an LA based designer called Meghan Fabulous. I spotted this beauty at Nordstorm Rack and immediately fell in love with it. The silhouette was SO incredible, with the material effortlessly draping over my body in a modest yet flattering fashion. The contrasting embroidery on the neckline and at the elbows of the gorgeous bell sleeves give it a real ethnic touch.. several people complimented this dress during my trip and it was DEFINITELY my buy of the holiday. I unfortunately couldn’t spot the exact dress online anymore but you can check out more of Meghan’s amazing designs here. I’ve also linked similar options below for you guys to have a look at.
Ahhh and another Monday is upon us, just like that. I can’t believe most of January has already flown by – does time just move a lot quicker as you get older?
Anyway.. today I just wanted to share a few pictures that we shot the other day when I was in the city, not for the outfit but more because I got the rare opportunity to shoot in front of Sydney’s iconic monuments without (what appears to be) a single soul around me.
Of course, in reality, I had a tonne people all around me as it was the middle of the day but with some excellent photography by Mr Londonite, we managed to get a couple of amazing shots.
The outfit itself for the day was a simple all black ensemble. My current favorite pair of black jeans from ASOS combined with a chiffon bardot top, some ‘barely there’ strappy black sandals, a black quilted bag and of course, the Quay ‘My Girl’ glasses for a pop of colour and some drama.
Today marks exactly two weeks until I start travels for 2016 and I am so excited – it’s been a couple of months since I was last on a plane and I have definitely been feeling the itch! <3
I hope you guys have an amazing start to the week.. until the next post!
Who doesn’t love a bit of Monochrome, ay? For today’s post I went back to what I love most – something classic with a twist.
To me, nothing is more chic than a monochrome ensemble and I simply loved this look with it’s hint of edge with some daring accessories.
I teamed a pair of gorgeous wide legged pants from The Iconic with a black camisole with gold chain straps and some strappy black heeled sandals from ASOS – a fairly simple look on it’s own but by adding a statement clutch like this one from Skinny Dip London and a wide brimmed sun hat, it brings a whole load of drama. To complete the look, I added a couple more touches of gold with a few bracelets and a statement cuff from Little Mistress and a pair of gold framed Ray Ban aviators.
