I’m a bit late in jumping on the bandwagon to talk about items I bought in January Sales but yesterday morning I woke up to a delivery I had completely forgotten about even purchasing. So I thought I would take the opportunity to not only show off some of my frugal finds.. but it also happens to be my first ever purchase from NastyGal.
Like most other women, I am a lover of that beautiful four lettered word that is dreaded by all boyfriends, husbands and fathers everywhere; SALE. Most things in my wardrobe that I have purchased myself have been bought at a reduced price because nothing feels more satisfying than getting a compliment on what you’re wearing and being able to turn around and say “You’ll never guess how much it was…” pursued by the “Oooh’s” and “Ahhh’s” of disbelief.
NastyGal is by far my favorite online American store but it’s taken me well over a year to actually place an order.. simply because I like being able to try on clothes – especially if they are sale items, and the hassle of returning items if they don’t fit etc kind of takes the fun out of it. Anyway, since I had a bit of spare cash to splash, I took the plunge and bought 3 gorgeous items last month. They were:
The Shearling jacket was originally £43.42 down to £29.56, the bag was £44.70 down to £30.43 and the Blazer was £43.42 down to an amazing £18.63. Obviously, once you include shipping and UK customs charge I didn’t REALLY save that much money but definitely very happy with my purchases. In fact, I wore the On Edge blazer last night at a Pre LFW event and was asked several times where I got it from. I’ll be blogging more about that outfit and the event later on this week.
