Everyone deserves a second chance right? Well, so do their wardrobes. Cue Style Sequel, an online designer-resale service. Praised by the likes of Vanity Fair, Vogue and Elle to name a few, Style Sequel is the go-to place for previously owned, sold out treasures.
What really sets Style Sequel apart and ahead of the game, is the love Founder, Emma Allen, has for what she does day in, day out. She has a passion for taking beautiful designer goods that have worn out their welcome in one wardrobe and finding them a loving new home.. Think of it like Toy Story 3, except instead of Woody, Buzz & Co getting a second chance of being played with, you have Vintage McQueen, Chanel & Burberry Prorsum getting a new lease on life…
After I was first introduced to Style Sequel during LFW last year, I kept in touch and indulged in a few “TweetIllectual” conversations with Emma. Last week she was kind enough to invite me down to their HQ to play dress up! Walking into their trendy Warehouse-esque office and further into their stock room, the first question to fall out of my mouth was.. “How are you not bankrupt, wanting to buy everything that comes through here?”
As you can probably tell, I was incredibly spoilt for choice. Surrounded by every designer brand under the sun, every single item I touched had my jaw dropping just that little bit further. I picked out a few of my fav’s which turned out to be a some of Emma’s favourites too!
Thank you to Style Sequel for having me and more importantly letting me spend a day surrounded by all the beautiful things that the finest fashion dreams are made of. Check out Style Sequel’s take on my visit here!
