I can’t imagine I’m the only one who started getting summer ready last week when the sun came out, only to be hugely disappointed with the dramatic change in weather of late. It’s hot then its freezing then it’s raining.. I can’t keep up! What I do know, however, is that there are ways to make our newly acquired Spring/Summer wardrobe in this indecisive weather. I absolutely love this MINKPINK maxi with a twist c/o VERY. When you think Maxi dresses, you always think of softer colours and florals and I love how this dress completely breaks all the rules! The aztec print with the crisp white panels and halter neck make it absolutely perfect for so many different occasions during summer. I decided to add a pair of dark tights and platforms to give this look more of an edge but you could add a pair of gladiator or strappy sandals for the total glam factor.

To complete my look I added an animal print bangle, a gold arm cuff and a leather wristlet bag and voila!

Also, just to point out that this is my last EVER post with long hair… EEEEEK! Can’t wait to show you guys the new do on Saturday.

Thank you for reading my loves.. until the next post.

Paris is easily one of my favorite cities in the world – second only to New York. I love the people, the sights, the food and of course, the accent. Nothing beats the French accent, oui?

We spent the weekend being real tourists, seeing as it was Matt’s parents’ first trip to the city of love and I’m so happy to say that they had an absolutely great time there. The weather wasn’t great but hey, us Europeans find that as no surprise hey!

We stayed in a trendy part of the city called Republique. I normally stay in hotels closer to the main tourists sights but it was SOOO great to get an apartment just a little bit further out of the central areas – felt so much more authentic. Fabulous weekend all in all!

I know you guys know I haven’t been feeling fantastic over the last few weeks and I am slowly but surely on the mend – sometimes our bodies just need the time to fix themselves right?

Shooting a tonne of looks tomorrow so keep an eye out for some style posts going live next week!

Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend so far.. thank you for reading loves, until the next post.

While I’m sat here making the most of my last night in the city of love, I thought I’d quickly update you with another one of my looks from when I was on board the Anthem of the Seas. You guys know how much I’ve been digging the seventies trend this season.. making the most of rocking flares while I can!

The high waisted kick flares and boho blouse are both from H&M – I have to say I was really impressed with the quality and cut of the flares.. great value for £29.99! I added on a gorgeous pair of suede platforms from Next* and kept the accessories to a minimal with a beautiful gold and turquoise head chain from Windsor Store* and gold mirrored aviators from Finest Seven*. A super simple seventies inspired look that was perfect for a day of lounging on the cruise!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know that I am currently in Paris! It’s my fourth trip here and I absolutely fall more and more in love with this city every time I visit. I head back to London tomorrow so keep an eye out for my Postcards from Pareee over the next few days :)

Hope you’re all having a wonderful long weekend.. as always, thanks for reading!

Until the next post

Some of you may have seen on Instagram that last weekend I had the immense pleasure of experiencing Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas – the world’s 3rd largest cruise ship, before it opened to the public on the 20th of April. What an experience. I’m embarrassed to admit that having never been on a cruise before, I had quite the stereotypical views of what to expect of one – a lot of old people and cheesy entertainment. Well, my oh my was I in for a total surprise. Anthem of the Seas completely blew me away – I don’t even know where to begin with explaining how incredible it was. Less cruise ship and more space ship with some of its jaw dropping features, Royal Caribbean have successfully created an experience that fits in so perfectly with our tech savvy generation today. It literally was a glimpse into holidays in the future. I’ll get more into the deets of my experience in my next post.. but for now, here’s a quick look at what I wore on my first day on the ship.

Undoubtedly excited and perhaps a little over enthusiastic about donning an ensemble fit for the sea, I went all out with the nautical theme on the first day. I teamed a pair of wide leg striped trousers from Zara, complete with rope belt with a halter neck top also from Zara. I added a gorgeous straw hat from H&M and a pair over oversized mirrored aviators from FINEST SEVEN to accessorise and slipped on a pair of cleated black sandals. To add a pop of colour to the whole look, I grabbed my yellow cross body bag from Forever 21. Of course, as soon as I stepped out onto the pool deck I was almost literally blown away (Didn’t think my outfit choices through) but you know how it is… fashion over function, ay ladies? :)

I hope you all have had a fantastic weekend and are having a great start to the week so far.. Lots of love to you all!

As always, thanks for reading.. until the next post!
