With the harsh winter weather showing no signs of faltering, one of the few things we still have to look forward to is ditching the multitude of layers in Spring for lightweight macs and duster coats like this paint striped beauty from Girls on Film..

As it’s probably easy to gauge from my blog, Little Mistress is easily one of my favorite brands to work with. Combine LM with it’s sister brands Girls on Film and Paper Dolls and you literally have every kind of style covered. I am so grateful to work with them so often and when they got in touch about styling a few pieces from their new Spring collection, I was obviously on board.

I opted for this gorgeous, lightweight and very on trend duster coat in distressed stripes. We saw the monochrome trend being reworked on the catwalks by designers experimenting with different prints and silhouettes, a great way to liven up a classic trend and this over-sized duster coat is definitely a nod in that direction. I teamed it up with a boxed top in the same paint stroke print and some high waisted black jeans c/o Daisy Street. Due to the boldness of the coat and top I kept accessories to a minimum and opted for one animal print bangle and some cat eye sunglasses. I finished the look off with a pair of white leather pointed heels from River Island and there you have it!

The duster coat and top are not as yet available on the LM site but will be very shortly – until then why not check out some more of their spring collection?

Thanks for reading my lovelies.. until the next pots!
